The heart of East Orange Animal Alliance is its volunteers. We are continually overwhelmed by the generosity and commitment of our community. With a shared passion for making a difference in the lives of East Orange animals, we have made tremendous strides in the last four years.
Foster or Rescue
The lifeblood of our organization is the partnerships we have formed with our Rescue Partners. We want this relationship to be mutually beneficial, and provide a number of opportunities to offer on-going support. We are also committed to making it a rewarding experience for potential foster families, and work with them to find the perfect fit with a rescue partner.

Shelter Support
- Support and partner with Animal Control Officers and City Officials
- Generate Digital Marketing for available shelter pets
- Provide funding for veterinary services
- Source and fund evaluations and behavior training
- Supply additional items needed at the shelter
Community Support
- Fund veterinary services for community pets
- Provide complimentary training services for community pets
- Offer support and counseling to community residents with a goal of pet retention
- Provide pet food for pet-insecure families
